About Our Client
Our client is a leader within the manufacturing and distribution sector, known for their strong supplier partnerships and commitment to quality. As they grow, they are now looking for a talented Supply Planner to play a key role in shaping commercial strategy and driving value across the supply chain.
Job Description
- Support commercial activity by coordinating with sales, finance, operations and logistics, updating customer portals, and assisting with reports, meetings and trackers.
- Maintain process compliance through accurate order entry, documentation, audit preparation and continuous improvement across commercial and supply chain processes.
- Liaise with internal teams on forecasts, promotions and urgent orders, while supporting logistics, dispatch planning and delivery follow‑up.
- Oversee demand forecasting, customer inventory monitoring and internal stock planning to ensure product availability and on‑time fulfilment.
- Analyse data to identify stock issues, service gaps and root causes, providing insights to improve customer service and commercial outcomes.
- Manage weekly dashboards and reporting, including sales performance, forecasts, pricing checks, promotions, and invoicing oversight.
The Successful Applicant
- Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain operations and commercial processes.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving ability, and high attention to detail.
- Skilled in MS Excel, SAP, and reporting or data management tools.
- Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate effectively across stakeholders and teams.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and perform well in fast paced environments.
- 2-5 years' experience in commercial, supply chain, or operations roles, ideally with exposure to FMCG, retail, procurement, inventory, or logistics.
