Our client are a well known Property and Infrastructure business looking to add a Senior Commercial Manager to a Midlands based Healthcare contract.
Job Description
- Lead all commercial activities across a complex Healthcare PFI contract.
- Manage contract profitability, cost control and margin improvement initiatives.
- Oversee lifecycle programme commercial management and change control processes.
- Lead negotiation of contractual variations, compensation events and service amendments.
- Provide commercial governance and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Manage and develop commercial teams, quantity surveyors and commercial analysts.
- Drive effective subcontractor procurement and commercial performance management.
- Ensure compliance with PFI contractual obligations and payment mechanisms.
- Support business planning, forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Build strong relationships with NHS Trust stakeholders, SPVs, investors and supply chain partners.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Senior Commercial Manager candidate will possess:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager within Facilities Management, Healthcare Estates or Infrastructure services.
- Strong understanding of Healthcare PFI contracts and payment mechanisms.
- Experience managing complex contractual relationships and lifecycle programmes.
- Demonstrable success delivering commercial improvements and financial performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading commercial teams within a high-value service environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar discipline.
