Job Description:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology programmes within the public sector.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful programme execution.
  • Robust Programme Infrastructure: Clear governance, reporting lines, RAID logs, and delivery plans in place.
  • Transparency & Auditability: Track progress, decisions, and changes.
  • Scalable Delivery: Teams enabled to grow and pivot as mini projects evolve and scale.
  • Trust & Engagement: with external partners (e.g. trial leads, data providers).
  • Impact-Driven Execution: Workstreams delivering measurable improvements in trial access, data quality, and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Proven experience managing complex technology programmes in the public sector - ideally NHS.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to structure, roadmap, and align programme goals with organisational priorities.
  • Skilled in setting up decision-making frameworks, escalation pathways, and oversight boards.
  • Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across delivery streams.
  • Agile & Adaptive Planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
  • An understanding of compliance requirements within the public sector.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.

What’s on Offer:

  • An estimated salary of Β£54,000-Β£66,000, depending on experience.
  • FTC 6-8 month Contract.
  • A fixed-term contract with opportunities to make a significant impact in the public sector.
