Job Description:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology programmes within the public sector.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful programme execution.
- Robust Programme Infrastructure: Clear governance, reporting lines, RAID logs, and delivery plans in place.
- Transparency & Auditability: Track progress, decisions, and changes.
- Scalable Delivery: Teams enabled to grow and pivot as mini projects evolve and scale.
- Trust & Engagement: with external partners (e.g. trial leads, data providers).
- Impact-Driven Execution: Workstreams delivering measurable improvements in trial access, data quality, and operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant:
- Proven experience managing complex technology programmes in the public sector - ideally NHS.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to structure, roadmap, and align programme goals with organisational priorities.
- Skilled in setting up decision-making frameworks, escalation pathways, and oversight boards.
- Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across delivery streams.
- Agile & Adaptive Planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
- An understanding of compliance requirements within the public sector.
- A track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
