Job Description
- Fully utilise advanced MES and production systems to optimise performance
- Manage machine resources to minimise downtime and ensure all lead times are met
- Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and staffing levels
- Deliver the operational budget, including payroll, maintenance, capex, and third-party storage
- Lead, recruit, develop, and motivate the production team
- Benchmark processes and introduce new technologies, systems, and ideas to enhance efficiency
- Drive productivity improvements and cost-reduction initiatives across all product lines
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards
- Set ambitious production targets and communicate performance clearly
- Define and maintain quality control standards
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and routine servicing of production equipment
- Escalate operational challenges to the Managing Director when required
- Work closely with Business Development and Major Projects teams
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to all production staff
- Implement a robust QMS with the goal of achieving ISO accreditation
- Take full responsibility for production across all major projects and business areas
