Job Description
You will be required to carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment. Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work. Proactively looking for new, improved ways of working. Proposing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern, 4 Days and 4 Nights.
The Successful Applicant
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques.
- Knowledge of site services, CIP, refrigeration, steam boilers, water and effluent monitoring are desirable but not essential.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualified at a minimum.
- Experience of working in reactive maintenance roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.
