Job Description
The Investigations Caseworker will be
- Managing a varied caseload of fitness to practise investigations.
- Planning investigations and identifying the information and evidence required.
- Obtaining records, statements and supporting documentation from relevant parties.
- Reviewing and analysing complex information to identify the key facts and regulatory issues.
- Preparing clear, accurate investigation reports with evidence-based recommendations.
- Progressing cases efficiently while meeting internal procedures, quality standards and deadlines.
- The Successful Applicant
The Investigations Caseworker should be
- Experienced in investigations, casework or managing evidence-led files.
- Ideally experienced within a professional, healthcare or public sector regulator.
- Alternatively, from a clinical negligence, litigation, complaints, or legal casework background.
- A confident written communicator who can produce clear, concise and well-reasoned reports.
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information objectively and professionally.
- Immediately available or able to begin the assignment at very short notice.

This is an immediate-start temporary opportunity for an initial period of three months, offering a salary of £31,587 per annum equivalent.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within professional regulation while contributing to work that directly supports public protection and confidence in healthcare services.
You'll benefit from a hybrid working arrangement, spending two days each week in the Birmingham office and three days working from home.
