A growing Barnstaple based accountancy practice acts for a wide ranging and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships, limited company OMBs, SMEs and other clients of varying sectors and turnover size. The firm has a friendly, welcoming culture with a good team spirit. Study support is on offer for those studying. Ideally full time, whilst part time four days a week can also be considered.
You will join the team as a Bookkeeper and VAT Senior where you will take responsibility for the hands-on provision of year end accounts preparation, bookkeeping, reviewing VAT returns and other services to a wide spectrum of clients. You will work with a variety of industries including sole traders, limited companies and partnerships, and you will have the opportunity to carve a long-term career move as a highly valued addition in this close-knit team of professionals.
The Successful Applicant:
- You may be AAT qualified, studying or have developed your career entirely through experience only to date or be pursuing ACCA or other qualifications.
- You will have a background working in the accountancy practice sector specifically as a hands-on Bookkeeper and VAT Senior level professional or similar.
- You will bring a mix, or any of year end accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT etc in your career background and be looking to find a new career move where you can become a key, long-term addition to a successful team and firm.
