Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end processing of both hourly and salaried payroll cycles, including onboarding, terminations, and contractual updates.
- Handle one-off and third-party transactions such as bonus payments, deductions, and statutory orders.
- Support compliance activities across payroll year-end tasks, including submissions, reporting, and distribution of statutory documents.
- Provide accurate payroll data and insights to internal stakeholders as required.
- Maintain and configure payroll systems, including setting up pay elements, updating tax schedules, and managing structural or parameter changes.
- Assist in generating analytical and payroll reports, and share KPI dashboards with relevant teams.
- Ensure monthly payroll reconciliations are completed accurately and communicated to Finance.
The Successful Applicant
- A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- Proficiency within multiple payroll platforms
- Strong knowledge of current UK payroll legislation
- Exposure to working within a multi-site environment
- Experience with 3rd party payments
- Able to commute to the office - Amersham
