Job Description
- Oversee all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time.
- Proactively identify and manage tax risks within the business.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure tax efficiency.
- Provide advice on tax matters, supporting strategic decision making.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Support the implementation of tax-saving initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
- Professional certification in tax or accounting (e.g. ACCA, CTA, ACA) from a top practice
- Solid knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
- Prior experience preparing Corporate Tax
- Prior experience in Customs tax would be a distinct advantage
- Experience in industrial and manufacturing sector is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
