About Our Client Page Personnel are supporting a UK nationwide professional services organisation with a brand new permanent Head of Accounts Payable opportunity in Leeds. This position will be looking after the Accounts Payable function, alongside supporting with new implementations, adapting as the company grows and contributing to the key finance data. This role offers a fantastic company benefits package and is salaried up to £55,000 dependent on experience. Job Description As Head of Accounts Payable, you will have full ownership of the Accounts Payable end-to-end function on behalf of the organisation. This includes updating key supplier reconciliations, payment runs, banking details, and payment terms. You will also contribute to the monthly board packs with any key information, data, and trends to improve efficiency and business improvement. Additionally, you will oversee an already existing and self-sufficient small finance team. Other ad hoc duties include refining the ledgers and enhancing the invoices. The Successful Applicant Currently or previously in a Head of Accounts Payable position or similar. Open to anyone who has been a Transactional Finance Manager, Head of Accounts Receivable, or Finance Team Leader. Experience and understanding of Accounts Payable is essential. Ideally, previously overseen, supervised, or managed colleagues is desirable. Knowledge of system implementations or dealing with any company/organisational mergers is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder management. Comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
