Job Description Responsible for helping to shape and grow the London Bus business units Lead in the production of period end management accounting tasks Lead the preparation and compilation of comprehensive budgets and forecasts ready for inclusion in company level financial models Develop strong links with the London leadership team and the Shared Service Centre Develop financial reporting and analysis that facilitates effective decision-making activity within the business Actively take part in the year end accounting activities Take the financial lead on business cases, from initiation support through to post investment appraisals. The Successful Applicant Educated to Degree level Part qualified in ACCA/CIMA The role requires flexibility, good planning skills and ability to be able to multi-task to meet deadlines To have excellent understanding of the business issues that affect Bus, with ability to articulate this effectively. Excellent MS Office skills, in particular MS Excel with an aptitude for analysis. Adaptable, personable, and an excellent communicator both written and verbally. Strong work ethic and maintain high standards. The ability to work autonomously when required.
