Job Summary
Reporting to the Quality Compliance Manager, the purpose of this role is to collaborate with all areas of Safran Seats GB to provide comprehensive support, direction and where appropriate personal contribution to both build on and maintain the Safran Seats GB Quality Management System in terms of people, processes and projects.
- Protect customers from non-quality, by ensuring that products and practices comply with regulations, customer requirements and Safran standards and promoting a culture of prevention and anticipation.
- Drive continuous improvement, by capitalizing on factual data and feedback and providing the necessary support for all company functions.
- Undertake other reasonable duties, in line with business needs and objectives, which are consistent and commensurate with the overall purpose of the position.
In addition; there are specific requirements including but not limited to:
- Develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure compliance against all regulatory requirements.
- Support the deployment of the Quality Management System across the Business through the implementation and follow-up of internal audits, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
- Manage relevant systems for the capturing of rejects and all other relevant reporting systems. This shall include containment, Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Liaison with all areas of the business on all matters relating to quality systems, procedures, direction, processes, including Quality Assurance implementation and maintenance.
- Provide support for customer and regulatory (external) audits as required, to ensure process and procedural compliance to AS9100, EASA Part 21(G)/21(J) and EASA 145.
Job Requirements
- Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline. (Essential)
- Sound engineering / quality background, with experience of Quality inspection within a manufacturing / engineering industry. (Essential)
- Experience of working at all levels including both internal & external customers (Essential)
- AS91000 Assessor (Desirable)
- EASA Part 145, FAA 145 Auditor, Internal Audit Qualification (IRCA) (Desirable)
