The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Trainer Assessor in Industry Skills to join the team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess a range of adult-focused qualifications and short courses in areas such as Adult Employability Skills, Digital Skills, Professional Development, and sector-specific training.
- Support the delivery of high-quality adult skills programmes across Greater Manchester.
- Work across delivery models including classroom, online, and employer-based settings; ensure learning is accessible, engaging, and aligned with industry needs.
- Motivate, coach, and assess adult learners from diverse backgrounds; be organised, responsive, and supportive of learner goals.
- Collaborate with the Programme Leader for Industry Skills to help adults gain knowledge, confidence, and practical skills for meaningful employment or further training.
- Maintain an environment that supports inclusive practice and learner progression.
Qualifications
- Experience in adult education or work-based learning is essential.
- Relevant assessing qualifications are required.
- A teaching qualification is desirable.
