The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Lecturer to join the Computing team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures.

The Role

  • Teach Level 2 and Level 3 IT and Computing courses, including T‑Levels and BTEC Nationals, with possible higher-level teaching based on experience.
  • Act as Course Tutor for student groups, supporting their learning journey into successful careers in the Computing industry or further/higher education.
  • Assess students through various methods and prepare them for external examinations.
  • Deliver high‑quality, learner‑focused education and provide a quality learning experience.
  • Develop curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable student success and thriving in their subject area.

About You

  • Passionate about education with experience in software engineering and programming (e.g., Java, Python, .NET).
  • Knowledge of web development, computer systems, data science, cybersecurity.
  • Level 2 Digital and Level 3 Computing BTEC qualifications are required.
