Responsibilities
- Manage a large, highly effective and committed team of Learning Facilitators to ensure that learners of all ages with SEND, and those who have High Needs, are appropriately identified, assessed and supported during their programme of study to progress and achieve their aims.
- Participate in transition processes to identify and plan support requirements for students who have EHCPs, particularly those who require High Needs support.
- Lead and document annual EHCP reviews, monitor progression, and adjust support as required.
- Develop excellent working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate a wide range of support requirements, including opportunities for personalised supported learning.
About You
- Passionate about your specialist subject and sharing knowledge, skills and experience, and enthusiastic about providing excellent support for learners.
- Inspirational manager able to deliver the College’s key objectives relating to high‑quality, personalised learning support, and inspire others through excellent communication, engagement and partnership skills.
- Previous experience in managing teams and a wide range of skills and knowledge relating to learning support processes and strategies.
- Keen to expand skills through continuous professional development and courses required to enhance the role.
