About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Lecturer to join our supportive and dynamic team. You will be teaching motivated and well‑behaved students who are eager to learn. The department offers both Level 2 and 3 courses including GCSE sciences, BTEC Applied Science and T'Level Laboratory Science. Our learners range from 16‑year‑old to adults. We are particularly interested in applicants with a strong biology background and/or extensive experience of Level 3 teaching. This position is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced lecturers looking for a new challenge in a nurturing environment.
About You
You should be passionate about your specialist subject and share your knowledge, skills and experience. You should hold a relevant degree and a teaching qualification (or be working towards one) and have strong subject knowledge in science. Whether you are an ECT or a more experienced practitioner, you will be a team player who brings energy, creativity and a willingness to contribute to the wider department and college community. Flexibility, enthusiasm and a dedication to student success are essential. This role will require you to deliver high‑quality, learner‑focused education, develop curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies to help students succeed.
