Join Trafford College Group (TCG) as a Lecturer in GCSE English. This role involves working 21 hours per week with a salary range of £33,351.00 - £47,397.00 (Full Time Equivalent) and a pension contribution of 28.68% (£9,286.30 - £13,196.82 FTE).
Location: The Trafford and Stockport College Group – Altrincham campus (with potential for deployment at other sites if required and mutually agreed).
The Trafford and Stockport College Group has an opportunity for an experienced teacher of GCSE English Language to join the English and Maths team. The role is essential in helping learners aged 16-18 improve their English skills and achieve their GCSE Grade, which is crucial for their education and employment progression. Adult Part-Time GCSE provision also provides opportunities for learners aged 19+.
The Role:

About You:
If you are passionate about your subject and have experience in teaching post-16 GCSE or Secondary GCSE English, you may be well-suited for this role. An English degree is not essential, but evidence of English subject specialism in related disciplines is required. This position is suitable for both Newly Qualified Teachers and experienced practitioners.
This role offers the potential for a longer-term or permanent position within the Department, along with ongoing internal and external CPD opportunities.
