£24,513.30-£34,836.90 Pro‐Rata (£35,019-£49,767 Full Time Equivalent). Pension contribution: 28.68%.
Location
Stockport Campus.
About the Role
Primarily work with Level 1 and Level 2 students on full‐time study programmes, and potentially Level 2 Apprentices. May also support delivery of multi‐trade construction skills and maintenance operations qualifications.
Provide an effective foundation for students to start their careers, guiding them into chosen progression pathways.
With a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery, teach across all modules on Level 1–3 courses, including full‐time students and apprentices under apprenticeship standards.
Deliver high quality, learner‐focused education, develop curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies to enable student success.
About You
Qualified carpenter/joiner with significant industry experience in site carpentry and bench joinery.
Experience across other trades such as property maintenance or renovation work is valuable.
Experience working with young people in an educational setting and a Level 5 teaching qualification (Certificate in Education) preferred; NQT status considered.
