Our client is a well-respected Sprinkler Contractor, installing and maintaining sprinkler systems on mainly commercial projects. They would like to recruit Sprinkler Service Manager. You will have worked as a Sprinkler Service Engineer and, either, worked as a Service Manager or be ready to make the step up. Role: * Maintaining and developing good client relationships with existing client accounts. * Ensure there is a continuous pipeline of new service & maintenance works, both with new clients and existing accounts. * Together with our Head of Business, drive and develop the opportunity of the Residential Sprinkler market for both installation and maintenance contracts. * Demonstrate and deliver strong technical problem-solving skills. * Ensure commercially efficient logistical planning of external resources across both installation and service & maintenance teams. * Lead and educate external resource to seek new opportunities. * Report to Senior Management on key performance indicators set. * In line with company monitoring, manage and review external contractors and suppliers. * Secure compliance within the company by participating in external company audits – these will include: – BRE Product Management (LPCB Certification), Health & Safety, Quality Management ISO901:2015. Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Actively seek new business. Following up on incoming enquiries as well as proactively seeking new opportunities. * Develop new business and maintain good client relationships within existing clients. With a focus to increase the number of Service Agreement Clients. * Prepare quotations for new or remedial works within the given timeframes. * Attend necessary Client/Site/Project Meetings. * To ensure that all site engineers have continuity of work and to make sure all engineers have the correct parts and equipment to undergo their planned works. * Scheduling and the booking of Service works, using our internal systems and following existing processes. * Ordering of materials and hire equipment for specific works. Using our approved suppliers, ensuring profitability is maintained within the scope of the project/works. * Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems, procedures and policies are being adhered to internally with our site engineers and externally with Subcontractors. * Working with our compliance administrator to ensure the engineer teams training certificates (internal & external) are maintained and the Training Matrix within our Quality Management System remains current at all times. * 1048 Certification, ensuring your departments work practices and process are following these company policies. * Occasional overtime working i.e. Emergency Call-Out Rota (if needed)
