Senior Project Manager, Interior Fitout Our client delivers exceptional fit out projects that provide outstanding office, higher education and science facilities. The Project Management Team orchestrates the planning, execution, and successful completion of fit out and refurbishment projects. This involves coordinating with clients, managing timelines and budgets, ensuring quality control, and liaising with on-site teams and contractors to deliver projects ranging from small-scale modifications to large capital ventures up to £200m. Our client’s expert design and build teams can deliver a one-stop-shop solution, from a blank canvas through to a finished workplace. In particular, they have the expertise to deliver world class Science & Research facilities finished to the highest standards and have a big market presence in the Oxford area and the M4 Corridor. Many projects are completed successfully whilst to some extent in occupation. This is a senior role within the business for an established Fitout Project Manager looking to work regionally, in particular in Oxford and surrounds and along the M4 Corridor. You’ll work closely with the Senior Management team, playing a pivotal role in overseeing projects and liaising with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. We are looking for a Project Manager with substantial experience of Managing Interior Fit Out Projects who can; * Empower and inspire others to deliver successful outcomes * Work as a collaborative team manager who will work with the whole project team to develop objectives and agree ways of working * Manage JCT and NEC 3/4 contracts ensuring compliance with the terms of the contract * Monitor progress against the schedule managing resources against the baseline and identifies variances that require action * Monitor financial performance throughout the project and prepare reports for stakeholders * Prepare a Risk Management plan and process to identify threats and opportunities, assessing the impacts to develop suitable response plans * Manage the consistent application of quality assurance processes and standards * Establish and maintain governance structures that define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities for governance * Develop and disseminate a stakeholder management and communications plan to meet the objectives of the project. * Establish and manage review points, which will inform governance and provide evaluations of progress. * Manage the change control process in line with the contract conditions. * Define, evaluate, track and realise the business benefits of project. About you * Experience working on complex Interior Fit Out projects * NEC 3/4 accredited preferably and experience with JCT form of contract * Experience of managing multiple fitout projects with a keen interest in developing skills in scheduling and project management * Strong communication skills including the ability to manage meetings with senior client representatives * A collaborative approach including managing large technical teams * Proven ability to deliver to deadlines * Able to work collaboratively with clients to deliver results * Professional and ethical in everything that you do * Able to identify and develop a phased approach to delivery, working collaboratively with the client to understand and agree the project requirements * Team player, able to deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines and to form effective relationships. * Determined approach to delivery * Good practical application of Microsoft Software, including Project, Excel and Word * Ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools including programmes, risk registers, Stakeholder Management Plans, Project Execution Plans and Quality Assurance Plans * Driving licence This client offer an exceptional salary, benefit and bonus package in an environment that respects a work and life balance.
