Our client is a Central London based quality led Design & Build contractor specialising in commercial Cat A & Cat B fit-out projects across London. They are looking to employ a Mechanical Design Manager to play a key role in their business. You will be overseeing one junior member of staff.

You’ll oversee mechanical design across a range of commercial D&B fit-out schemes, leading mechanical design activity from concept to delivery.

Package: £85,000+ Salary, Travel allowance, Healthcare, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, twice yearly bonus, Career support and development with anticipated longer term progression to Head of Design / Technical Director role.

We are looking for:

  • Strong experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Manager within Building Services Engineering
  • Knowledge of Design in commercial fit-out (Cat A/Cat B) or similar environments
  • D&B experience on mechanical systems
  • Confidence working directly with clients and internal teams
  • A desire to lead, mentor a more junior member of staff and add value to a successful growing business
