This position will involve working from your home typically two to three days per week and dropping in as required at our client’s offices and site locations, which are throughout the UK. A quality car or car allowance forms part of the package.

Their operating arm manages an extensive portfolio of units. This position focuses on their Remediation Contracts which is an important business stream.

We are looking for a commercially strong construction contracts manager and negotiator with solid technical understanding. An ability to liaise with clients, build relationships, pragmatically and intelligently negotiate and seek value and commercial success are the most important things in this role.
You will lead remediation bid management efforts, overseeing the preparation of bids. We are looking for someone commercially strong who is a professional deal-maker. You will handle contract negotiation and administration, ensure construction projects meet technical and regulatory standards, and collaborate with external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
You should have:
- Proven experience in contract management with a focus on refurbishment projects ranging from £1m to £20m (preferably accommodation projects such as hotels, but this is not essential if your senior level skills are applicable).
- Strong client-facing skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships.
- Experience in bid management, programme and resource planning.
- Knowledge of contract administration, drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, budgeting, and contract law.
- Leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing a contract management team.
- A stable and clear career history on UK Projects.
