The Chief of Staff will act as an operating partner to the MD office, driving execution of strategic priorities across businesses and functions. The role blends strategy formulation, PMO (Project Management Office) rigor, and hands‑on execution, and is ideal for leaders who thrive at the intersection of analysis, influence, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the annual strategy, quarterly reviews, and leadership calendar
  • Translate leadership priorities into clear roadmaps, owners, and milestones
  • Track execution across initiatives and proactively course‑correct
  • Establish strong operating cadence (weekly / monthly / quarterly rhythms)
  • Support performance reviews across business verticals
  • Partner with commercial teams on go‑to‑market and geographic expansion
  • Convert data (market research, MIS, consumer insights) into strategic inputs
  • Act as the interface between various Business Heads
  • Prepare leadership for high‑stakes reviews, negotiations, and partnerships
  • Support board meetings, executive offsites, and leadership forums
  • Lead enterprise‑wide projects spanning Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Legal
  • Drive KPI alignment and a data‑led decision‑making culture
  • Identify and resolve organizational bottlenecks
  • Draft board notes, strategic memos, leadership communications
  • Build internal playbooks, frameworks, and operating mechanisms
Requirements
  • 15‑18 years of experience in strategy, change management and business transformation
  • Must have some operating experience in FMCG / Consumer Tech sectors combined with a strong stint in a leading Strategy organization
  • Deep experience/understanding in Sales & Distribution in India, alongside strategy roles
  • Prior exposure to CoS / Strategy / CEO office environments preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L orientation
  • Highly structured problem‑solver with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • MBA from a premier institution (IIM / ISB / XLRI / SPJIMR or equivalent) - mandatory
