Senior Manager Energy Economics with a global consulting firm.Energy economics, price controls, economic regulationAbout Our ClientGlobal consulting firm.Job DescriptionSenior Manager Energy Economics.The Successful ApplicantHe suitable applicant will have:Significant experience in energy economics, investment, markets, modelling, policy or regulation, gained in consulting, government, industry, a regulator or an investment environmentStrong knowledge of energy markets and the transition to net zero, ideally spanning investment drivers, market design, infrastructure, low-carbon technologies or regulatory frameworksA strong grounding in microeconomics and the ability to apply economic concepts to practical policy, regulatory and commercial questionsExperience leading substantial projects or workstreams, managing teams, budgets, risks, dependencies and senior stakeholdersA track record of building trusted relationships and contributing to business development, account growth or proposition developmentA postgraduate qualification in economics or a related quantitative discipline is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will be considered.
