Sales and Trading Business Analyst responsibilities
- Analyse sales and trading operations to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Business Analysts are expected to engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand current practices and processes, identify where change is required, analyse options, and provide clear, evidence based recommendations. They are expected to produce high quality business analysis artefacts including end to end process design and documentation, business requirements documentation and support for the UAT.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Provide insights and solutions to enhance trading and sales processes.
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes within the banking environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and suggest further improvements.
Profile
- A strong background in financial services, particularly within sales and trading operations.
- Strong experience within process mapping and process design.
- Strong knowledge of banking products including Sales & Trading, front to back office processes, and the regulatory environment.
- Experience within payments modernisation and payments investigation projects would be beneficial.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
