Job Description
This leadership role will have you working at the interface between a premium brand and a diverse network of metropolitan and regional dealerships, with accountability for sales performance, dealer capability, and long-term network growth.
- Drive state-wide commercial performance across sales, market share, and dealer profitability
- Build and maintain strong, high-value relationships with Dealer Principals and senior stakeholders
- Develop and execute quarterly sales and marketing plans aligned to national strategy
- Analyse dealer performance to identify growth opportunities across model lines and market segments
- Lead forecasting, stock management, and performance planning across the network
- Partner with dealers to uplift capability in areas such as lead management, customer experience, and sales process optimisation
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team across Dealer Business Management and Fleet
- Support the evolution of a premium brand positioning through consistent execution across the network
The Successful Applicant
You will be a proven automotive Sales Leader with strong experience operating in a networked, multi-site, or franchise environment, where success relies on influence rather than direct control.
- Proven leadership experience within the automotive industry, particularly in sales management roles.
- Driving innovation within the network through the utilisation and implementation of company endorsed programs, including selling into the pipeline, prospect lead management, trade cycle management, owner communication program, digital marketing strategies, and learning and development programs.
- Strong ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Developing a strong and active business partnership with the dealer network, with the goal of improving dealer throughput and profitability for the business and the dealer network.
- This role could suit an existing State Manager or someone stepping up from a Dealer Business Manager role.
