Exciting opportunity for a Partner – Private Credit, Social Infrastructure UK to join a global investment firm in London.
Key Sector Focus
The successful candidate will lead investments across a range of social infrastructure verticals, including:
- Education
- Childcare
- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) schools and care facilities
- Healthcare
- Social Housing
Investment Strategy & Deal Types
The role will involve deploying capital through a variety of private credit structures, including:
- Cashflow lending – with asset-backed security, including long-term lease structures
- Development loans – supporting new build or refurbishment of social infrastructure assets
- Platform lending – revolving credit facilities and drawdown lines to alternative lenders operating in the target sectors
Target Investment Parameters
- Deal Size: £1 million to £30 million
- Target IRRs: 10%+
- Geography: Primarily UK, with potential to expand into select European markets
- Lead origination and execution of private credit investments in the target sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with operators, developers, intermediaries, and co-investors
- Oversee due diligence, structuring, and negotiation of investment terms
- Monitor portfolio performance and manage risk across investments
- Contribute to strategic planning and fundraising efforts
- Represent the firm at industry events and with key stakeholders
