As the Managing Director, you will lead commercial, financial, and operational activities from their HQ in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
The successful candidate will be a proven Managing Director with a strong commercial focus working within engineering and manufacturing environments and have a track record of demonstrable top and bottom line sales growth throughout their career.
Job Description
- Conduct an objective review of the business to execute a strategic business plan designed to optimise performance.
- Control all aspects of the business and the balance sheet, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Create and deliver a robust sales strategy focused on developing high-level relationships with existing and target customers to deliver bespoke precision engineered solutions.
- Deliver and drive a proactive new business development approach through a broad range of hi-tech customers across medical, defence, aerospace, motorsport, and nuclear sectors.
- Lead the senior leadership team across the three divisions including sales and marketing, engineering, production, quality, finance, health and safety, and human resources.
- Develop and maintain excellent health and safety standards throughout the business, consistent product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and best practice.
