Job Description: As the Partnerships Director - Energy & Utilities, you will:
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing global partners to drive mutual growth.
- Develop joint business plans with strategic partners, including revenue targets, go-to-market strategies, and enablement plans.
- Act as the executive sponsor for key partner accounts, ensuring alignment and advocacy.
- Identify, evaluate, and on-board new strategic partners aligned with company goals and market expansion.
- Build scalable partner programs to attract and retain high-performing partners in target regions.
- Lead negotiations and contracting for new partnerships, ensuring commercial and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute joint GTM campaigns with partners.
- Drive co-selling and co-marketing initiatives to increase pipeline and revenue through the partner ecosystem.
- Analyse market trends in the energy sectors to inform partner strategy and positioning.
- Represent the company in industry forums, partner events, and strategic alliances.
- Define and track KPIs for partner success, including revenue contribution, pipeline growth, and partner satisfaction.
- Work closely with regional sales leaders to align partner strategy with local market needs.
- Influence product roadmap through partner feedback and market insights.
The Successful Applicant: As the Strategic Partnerships Director, your experiences will include:
- Proven track record of selling or enabling SaaS solutions within the utilities and energy sectors.
- An understanding of the sustainability and decarbonisation agenda.
- Deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, regulatory environments, and digital transformation trends in the industries.
- Solid grasp of SaaS architectures, cloud platforms and digitalisation solutions.
- Extensive experience working with GSIs, consultancies, and strategic technology partners.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling partner ecosystems across multiple geographies.
- Experience negotiating and managing complex partner agreements and joint GTM strategies.
- Strong background in enterprise software sales, ideally with a mix of direct and indirect/channel sales.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic partnership plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Skilled in business development, partner enablement, and co-selling motions.
- Experience operating in international markets and adaptability across regions.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally for partner meetings, industry events. Occasional travel to London office.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Experience leading virtual teams and collaborating across sales, marketing, product, and legal functions.
