About Our Client

This not-for-profit organisation operates as a mid-sized entity with a focus on delivering impactful services.

Their technology team plays a vital role in supporting and advancing the organisation's mission through innovative solutions.

Job Description

  • Interim Lead Architect with deep MS 365 Dynamics experience
  • 6- 12 month Interim role

They will own

  • Single point of design decision-making across the implementation partner, support partner, Microsoft, and internal teams. Documented architecture decisions, enforced.
  • Root-cause remediation of the capture pipeline: Document Intelligence configuration, vendor master data strategy, PO matching policy, header versus line capture design.

Target is a step change in straight-through rate within two quarters.

  • Independent review of the partner-delivered estate covering extensions, integrations, batch design, and workflow configuration.

Findings will inform the commercial accountability position, so evidence discipline matters.

  • Diagnosis and a fix-or-supersede decision on the failed repairs platform integration, plus the wider integration architecture (Dataverse, dual-write patterns, middleware).
  • A defined set of technical prerequisites sits on the financial year-end audit path.

This person owns their delivery through the technical delivery plan, including managing single-person dependencies in the current team.

  • Service update cadence, regression posture for AP customisations, and LCS telemetry used as a working diagnostic tool.
  • The Successful Applicant

Key experience required for this Senior Interim role

  • Two or more full-lifecycle D365 F&O implementations at enterprise scale, at least one in a recovery, rescue, or post-go-live remediation context and experience of turning around a programme.
  • Deep, current F&O accounts payable and procure-to-pay expertise, including Invoice Capture, Document Intelligence, and vendor invoice automation.
  • Ability to read and critically assess extensions and ISV code, not just functional configuration.
  • Integration architecture depth: Dataverse, dual-write, Logic Apps or equivalent middleware, and batch and performance diagnostics at high transaction volumes.
  • Evidence of holding design authority across multiple vendors simultaneously, including at least one large SI, and the ability to describe how they made decisions stick without line authority over the vendors.
  • Comfortable operating under audit and executive scrutiny, with the writing quality to match.
  • What's on Offer
  • The role pays up to £950/day INSIDE IR35
  • Based in Central London with hybrid working in place (2/3 days per week)

Showcase Your Creative Portfolio

When interviewing for a temporary role in architecture, it’s crucial that we bring along a strong portfolio that highlights our best projects. Make sure to include a variety of work that showcases your design skills, technical drawings, and even any 3D models or visualisations. This will help the interviewers at Page Executive see your creative process and your ability to tackle different challenges in architectural design.

Brush Up on Software Skills

Be prepared to answer questions about architectural software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp, since many firms, including Page Executive, heavily rely on these tools. Talk about your problem-solving strategies and how you handle unexpected challenges — this will show Page Executive that you can seamlessly integrate into their ongoing work without missing a beat.

Prepare for Scenario-Based Questions

Expect some scenario-based questions that test your critical thinking and design choices in real-time. Practice answers where you explain how you would approach specific architectural challenges or collaborate with different stakeholders. This will not only demonstrate our thought process but also show how we can contribute meaningfully to the team at Page Executive from day one.
