About Our ClientThese are exciting times at Women's Pioneer Housing (WPH) as we continue to grow and expect to achieve over 1,000 social housing homes in October. Founded in 1920 by suffragists, who understood the importance of providing women with good quality affordable homes of their own, as part of their wider fight for women's equality. Today, we continue to challenge gender inequality and provide much-needed homes for single women including our new high rise building in Ealing. We are seeking a Director of Resources to lead a broad portfolio including finance, governance, risk, people, IT and business support services. This is a unique opportunity within the housing sector to join our Executive Team and play a key role in shaping our future. Job Description· Strategic leadership of corporate services, ensuring finance, governance, people, technology and business support functions work effectively to support the organisation's goals.· Oversight of financial performance and sustainability, including business planning, budgeting and treasury management.· Leadership of governance, risk and compliance, providing assurance to the Board and Executive Team and ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory obligations.· Broad strategic leadership experience, with an understanding of areas outside of finance, ideally technology or governance would be useful.· Strong financial acumen including experience of long-term financial planning, internal and external stakeholder management, risk assessment and operating within a robust regulatory and compliance framework.· Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, present complex information clearly and work effectively with Boards, executive colleagues, regulators, funders and other stakeholders.· Values-driven and people-focused leader, committed to equality, diversity and excellent customer service, with a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering a positive, collaborative culture. We are at a critical and exciting stage in our evolution and we are looking for a curious, values-driven leader to join our Executive Team and help guide us through our next phase.
