This is a high-profile leadership role reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, offering broad responsibility across financial control, reporting, governance, treasury, tax and sustainability reporting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting organisational transformation whilst maintaining best-in-class financial stewardship.
Job Description
The Director of Financial Control will provide strategic leadership for financial integrity, governance and reporting across the organisation. Leading a multidisciplinary team of circa 20 professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring robust accounting, reporting, tax, treasury and control frameworks are in place to support executive decision-making, regulatory compliance and long-term organisational objectives. Operating within a complex and evolving environment, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, the executive leadership team and governance committees whilst driving continuous improvement across finance processes, controls and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the Financial Control function across accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, treasury, tax and sustainability reporting.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of the balance sheet, profit and loss.
