With three-year funding secured to deliver our ambitious Lincs 2030 vision, Lincolnshire Police are seeking an exceptional Director of Finance and Commercial with significant experience in senior strategic finance leadership, ideally within the public sector or a complex organisation.
Job Description
- Play a critical role in shaping organisational strategy and decision-making at the highest level.
- Ensure financial resilience, integrity, and sustainability across the force.
- Lead a modern, forward-looking finance and commercial function.
- Drive best value, commercial innovation, and strategic investment decisions.
- Support the delivery of Lincs 2030, aligning resources to our future policing model.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Chief Constable and Chief Officer colleagues.
- Maintain an effective, cooperative and constructive working relationship with the Police & Crime Commissioner's (PCC's) Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
The Successful Applicant
- Significant experience in senior strategic finance leadership, ideally within the public sector or a complex organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to maximise value, manage risk, and drive innovation.
- Proven ability to influence and operate effectively at executive and board level.
- Experience of leading change and contributing to major transformation programmes.
- A strong commitment to public service, integrity, and delivering impactful policing outcomes.
