The Senior Counsel will work with the Deputy General Counsel and other members of the legal team.
Main Responsibilities
- Advise on all registered funds related legal matters, including drafting and reviewing all offering, marketing and documentation, reviewing for SEC and FINRA compliance.
- Provide legal advice and aid in provisions relating to 1940 Act compliance as it pertains to transactions, fund of fund matters, advisory, etc.
- Negotiate a wide range of agreements with registered fund counterparties, including closed-end funds, mutual funds, real estate investment trusts and various fund managers.
- Manage outside counsel as necessary.
- Work closely with other members of the legal team on additional projects as they arise.
