Job Description: As the Chief Marketing Officer, the responsibilities will include:

  • Define and execute a commercially focused strategy aligned to ambitious growth targets
  • Lead and evolve a multi-channel, digitally-led function
  • Drive B2C customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value through data-led decision making
  • Create market leading customer journey and experience
  • Optimise digital performance across paid, owned, and e-commerce channels
  • Build scalable processes, performance metrics, and reporting aligned to PE expectations
  • Partner closely with sales and product teams to create a joined-up revenue engine
  • Coach and scale a high performing team

The Successful Applicant: The successful Chief Marketing Officer should be a highly commercial, hands-on leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution level. You will bring:

  • Strong B2C experience (essential), with proven success in digital and e-commerce environments
  • A track record of driving growth through performance marketing, conversion optimisation, and customer journey management
  • Experience working in private equity-backed or high-growth environments, with an understanding of pace, accountability, and investor expectations
  • Exposure to board-level engagement and the ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Experience building or scaling teams within SME / mid-sized businesses
  • A data-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen
  • Must be able to commute 2-3 days a week to Harrogate
  • Experience within education, technology or digital platforms would be advantageous.
