Job Description
As a Group Finance Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Report to the Group CFO, lead a sizeable accounting team and support the board and Audit Committee
- Developing and implementing the financial strategy for organisation
- Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements for HKEX
- Work closely with other department head on potential investment or M&A opportunities
- Managing the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align financial goals with company objectives
- Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth
- Providing strategic guidance on investments and risk management
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least 20-25 years of solid accounting experience from sizeable organisations, preferably from diversified industries
- Professional Qualifications (i.e. HKICPA, ACCA etc) is a must
- Candidates who have worked for Hong Kong Listed organisation with a family management culture is a must
- Experience in managing complex financial operations and compliance
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to navigate a range of different levels of stakeholders
- A professional qualification in accountancy or a related field is preferred
- The ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders effectively
