The role includes:

  • Transactions and Financial Control: Overall accountability for core financial transactions, governance, statutory reporting and audit, ensuring strong controls, compliance and financial integrity.
  • Finance, Budgeting and Multi‑Year Planning (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting and multi‑year financial planning, providing high‑quality insight and analysis to support strategic decision‑making and sustainability.
  • Systems, Reporting and Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team (including management accountants), with responsibility for finance systems and delivering accurate, timely and insightful management reporting.

We are looking for candidates with substantial finance leadership experience gained within the not‑for‑profit sector, including a strong track record of leading statutory reporting and audit processes, and managing group consolidations.

Salary £90‑100K plus benefits. This role will be hybrid working and involve 2 days per week in the office in Cambridge.
