About Our Client

Leading Management Consultancy Value Creation Services team focusing on Performance Improvement based in London. The business is rapidly expanding this practice and looking for strong leaders to join at Associate Director and Director level to help drive growth.

Job Description

The team provides high profile Corporate and private equity clients with dedicated support for a transaction or potential transaction. You will have the chance to work closely with the deal team on the investigation of the target to ensure significant value items, risks, and other matters have been identified and considered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining distinctive relationships with Corporates and private equity clients.
  • Assisting clients in assessing the value creation potential within their business related to sourcing (direct and indirect) and demand planning by identifying and developing high impact performance improvement initiatives.
  • Lead on high-quality client engagements within planned timescales.
  • Driving the creation of work products and tools related to spend cube management enabled by machine learning / AI, contract performance management, and machine learning enabled demand planning.
  • Leveraging focused quantitative analysis to drive relevant should cost modelling, price formula determination, and engaging with suppliers to achieve successful negotiation results.
  • Working hands-on with management teams to get buy-in across the business and implement agreed sourcing or demand planning initiatives within an accelerated timeframe to maximize value.
  • Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution.

The Successful Applicant

We seek candidates with relevant Management Consulting/Business Advisory experience and a strong track record of leading high-performing teams.

Key requirements include:

  • Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering performance improvement programs within a consultancy or corporate background, familiar with working in an advisory capacity at some point in your career.
  • Experience with private equity portfolio companies is strongly preferred.
  • Deep experience in spend cube analytics, should cost modelling, demand planning, and cost reduction with a balance towards cash optimization.
  • Strong track record in business development, including generation of new leads and building out existing projects.
  • An analytical mindset and ability to use data and MI to assess and drive performance improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in managing and developing talent.
  • Flexibility for international travel.
