Exciting opportunity for a Director – Senior Sales Manager Private Markets with the Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London. The target clients for this role will include Pure Player Private Capital firms across the jurisdiction, as well as Private Capital arms of select Asset Management and Asset Owner firms.
Description
This individual will be responsible for raising the firm\’s profile as a Tier 1 solutions provider to the Private Capital market in the UK and Middle East, generating new client revenues on a rolling basis to meet sales targets. The role involves building relationships with senior stakeholders, creating a sales pipeline, and positioning the firm effectively in the Private Markets segment.
Key responsibilities
- Meet annual sales targets for a Senior Salesperson.
- Develop a strategic calling plan for a defined universe of targets, establishing relationships with senior stakeholders at clients and prospects.
- Create and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline through active calling, aiming for 100 client interactions per year, including meetings and presentations.
- Develop and update a sales strategy document.
- Collaborate with business lines and product teams to define and execute innovative solutions and messaging for the segment.
- Position the firm ahead of RFPs and create value propositions to differentiate the organization.
- Work with SMEs, RFP teams, and management to deliver high-quality, differentiating RFP responses and sales documents.
- Enhance the firm\’s profile in the Private Markets segment by participating in industry and media events and staying updated on industry trends.
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant consultants to positively represent the firm\’s Private Markets capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product and service requirements are met promptly.
- Adhere to internal and external policies regarding sales conduct.
- Establish close collaboration with FIC on mutual prospects.
Profile
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in financial services and the firm\’s industry, with a strong understanding of the global alternatives sector (both liquid hedge funds and illiquid private assets). The ideal candidate will have a strong sales track record in Private Markets, leadership skills, and the ability to influence global stakeholders.
