Job Description

As the Chief Operations Officer, you will develop and execute comprehensive operational and location strategies that align with our client’s mission and long-term goals. You will partner with the CEO and board to drive organisational transformation initiatives, leveraging technology and innovative practices to enhance global operations. Acting as a key advisor to executive leadership on global market trends, risks, and opportunities, you will lead the standardisation of processes across global offices to ensure consistent program delivery, resource optimisation, and adherence to their standards.

  • Oversee the implementation of tools and data systems that facilitate performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Spearhead efforts to improve utilisation, and other resource management systems globally.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to instill a culture of accountability and financial responsibility.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimise procurement and vendor management processes to achieve budgetary goals.

Setting and tracking margin targets, you will establish a process for monitoring and managing financial performance at a location level, ensuring financial alignment of international projects with the overall company strategy.

We are looking for an accomplished operator with extensive experience in managing multi-unit operations or multi-location businesses. The ideal candidate will be a strategic planner, commercially astute, and accountable for complex budgets. An inspirational leader, you will be adept at leading culturally diverse teams, with proven success in translating strategy into effective operational delivery. Your creative problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness will be essential, along with political savvy and skilled negotiation capabilities.
