Job Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership in the continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives and offer recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Ensure the continued financial health and success of the organization by effectively planning and managing the global financial resources.
  • Manage and monitor the global entities' liabilities and investments for financial risks, determining strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budget, financial trends, and forecasts.
  • Partner with investment advisors and report to the executive management and the Board of Directors advising on the investment portfolio.
  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operations information to the CEO and executive management team, making recommendations on strategy and operations.
  • Analyze cash flow, forecasting, debt need and rate management, foreign exchange management, cost controls, and all financials to identify areas of improvement.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all accounting and finance team members at headquarters and multi-plant locations, R&D centers, and sales offices globally.
  • Actively participate in Executive Management Team meetings; provide updates relating to Financials and other areas of responsibility.
  • Establish and report against KPIs for the business.
  • Responsible for preparing the annual 3-year and 5-year business plan.
  • Oversee tax group ensuring tax reports and filings are completed, 401K plant administration for the US, US payroll, and global profit sharing calculations.
  • Oversee the organization's risk management, including establishing and improving internal controls and procedures.
  • Personnel evaluation and/or development of a strong accounting and finance team.
  • Evaluate strategic growth opportunities through expansion and/or M&A (mergers and acquisitions).
  • Oversee IT, Legal, HR, partnering with all groups on strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Ensure all goals and objectives are clearly communicated with all team members and executive staff; expectations are clear and effectively communicate when changes occur.
  • Demonstrate and lead by example, maintaining a professional environment, driving a collaborative and open-door policy with a positive mindset and mentality.
