With a presence in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, they are also looking to expand their operations globally. Already achieving success in product registration and initial commercialisation in Greater China, they are looking to reach partnerships in overseas markets.
Job Description
- Provide strategic leadership for company operations
- Drive business growth in the Greater China market and explore overseas opportunities for commercialisation via partnerships
- Lead Business Development strategy
- Utilise market knowledge to identify new opportunities
- Lead and motivate a high-performing team
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all business operations
- Collaborate with C-Suite to develop and implement business strategies
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders
- Represent the company at industry events and forums
- Support fundraising efforts
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in STEM field with preference in Engineering, Science or Medical
- Background in Research & Development in the beginning of your career is preferred
- A strong track record of leadership in the Research and Development, Business Development and Partnerships and Commercial function within the Life Science industry, particularly in IVD
- Deep understanding of both Hong Kong and Mainland China market dynamics
- Outstanding strategic thinking and business acumen
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team
- A commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical business practices
- Language ability: fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English
