Job Description
- Develop and execute the U.S. commercial strategy for API and CDMO services.
- Build and manage high-value partnerships with biotech and global pharmaceutical clients.
- Lead contract negotiations and long-term collaboration initiatives.
- Oversee CMC operations and project delivery, ensuring regulatory, quality, and technical excellence.
- Serve as a strategic bridge between U.S. clients and global R&D / GMP manufacturing teams.
- Provide market insights and leadership to guide business planning and future investment.
The Successful Applicant
- Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in CMC, process development, or analytical development for small molecule drugs, including but not limited to APIs, peptides, or oligonucleotides, acquired from leading global pharmaceutical companies.
- Leadership & Partnership: Demonstrated track record of successfully leading collaborations with top-tier global pharmaceutical or CDMO organizations.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive experience across process development, analytical development, CMC strategy, GMP manufacturing, and global regulatory compliance, with a stable employment history (no frequent job changes every 1-2 years).
- Language: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred.
- Competencies: Strong commercial acumen, exceptional cross-cultural communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
