Job Description The Director of Growth will define and deliver a growth strategy, unlocking significant untapped commercial value from an established customer base while driving step-change improvements in traffic, conversion, and lifetime value.
You will own and scale acquisition and demand generation, leading performance across PPC, SEO, and digital marketing channels to accelerate sustainable, data-driven growth.
You will lead CRM and lifecycle marketing, designing personalised, insight-led customer journeys that increase engagement, cross-sell, retention, and frequency of use.
In parallel, you will take full ownership of ecommerce performance end-to-end, optimising conversion through UX innovation, experimentation, and close partnership with product and engineering teams to deliver a best-in-class digital experience.
A key part of the role is evolving the proposition, identifying and unlocking new growth opportunities while challenging the status quo.
You will also build strategies that drive repeat usage, loyalty, and long-term customer value, embedding lasting behavioural change across the customer base.
You will establish and lead a high-impact weekly trading rhythm, with clear KPIs, pace, and accountability for revenue, ROI, and growth delivery.
Operating in a complex matrix environment, you will lead and influence cross-functional teams, embedding a high-performance, data-driven growth culture across marketing, digital, product, and commercial functions.
The Successful Applicant We are seeking an outstanding, commercially driven growth leader with a proven track record of owning P&L and delivering significant, measurable value creation within scaled, consumer-facing businesses.
You will bring experience from large, digitally sophisticated organisations, with the credibility and judgement to operate at Director level in a high-expectation, PE-backed environment.
You will demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify, prioritise, and execute the initiatives that unlock disproportionate growth.
Your background will include leading performance at scale across acquisition (PPC, SEO, paid media), CRM and lifecycle marketing, and ecommerce optimisation, consistently delivering step-change improvements in revenue, conversion, and customer lifetime value.
You are a data-led and insight-driven decision maker, combining analytical rigour with creative, proposition-led thinking to solve complex growth challenges.
A natural thinking leader, you bring curiosity, pace, and a willingness to challenge the status quo, continually looking beyond the business to identify new opportunities and drive competitive advantage.
You will be an experienced leader of high-performing, cross-functional teams, with the interpersonal and influencing skills to mobilise teams and align senior stakeholders within a complex, matrixed environment.
You will have a strong track record of leading change, embedding a culture of accountability, and raising performance standards in fast-paced, results-oriented settings.
Critically, you will thrive in a private equity context, bringing a sharp focus on outcomes, ROI, and value creation, with a strong bias for action and delivery.
You will demonstrate high levels of ownership, resilience, and achievement drive, and be motivated by operating in an environment where pace, challenge, and expectations are high.
Above all, you will be a values-led leader who combines sound judgement with ambition, someone who develops others, builds trusted relationships, and creates a high-performance environment where individuals and teams can excel.
What’s on Offer Competitive basic and package.
This is a hybrid role and candidates must be able to travel weekly to office's in the UK.
