Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel and advice on private client matters, including estate planning and wealth management strategies.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address complex client needs and deliver tailored legal solutions.
  • Advise clients on tax implications related to trusts, estates, and wealth preservation strategies.
  • Conduct legal research to support client cases and ensure up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and effective communication.
  • Assist senior attorneys with case preparation and representation in legal proceedings as needed.
  • Promote compliance and ethical conduct within the organization and with external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning, trusts, and wealth management laws and regulations.
  • Excellent legal drafting and research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
