Job Description

  • Advise clients on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity deals.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.
  • Support clients in structuring and closing transactions in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and ensure successful deal execution.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and provide insights to clients and team members.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and trust.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to the New York State Bar.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, particularly mergers, acquisitions, and private equity.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced professional services environment.
