Odoo is the engine at the heart of this business, driving stock management, finance, reporting, and operations across multiple subsidiaries and countries. About the role:
- Take full ownership of the Odoo ERP system across multiple subsidiaries, acting as the go-to expert for the entire business.
- Ensure the stability, accuracy, and smooth day-to-day operation of the platform across international teams.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all things Odoo, bridging Operations, Finance, Logistics, and country teams across Africa.
- Maintain and improve system configuration, workflows, and processes to keep the business running at its best.
- Drive data integrity across stock, finance, and reporting, giving the business the visibility it needs to make confident decisions.
- Support the rollout of new modules and identify opportunities to bring additional business processes into Odoo over time.
- Own supply chain data completeness, including in-transit stock and shipment pipeline visibility, in collaboration with the Operations team.
- Support the development of operational dashboards and reporting tools for country teams across the continent.
- Lead process automation initiatives and work alongside the Software Team to integrate Odoo with the wider data stack.
- Act as the liaison with external developers and consultancies, escalating complex architectural needs where required.
About you:
- Strong understanding of ERP systems in an operational environment.
- Experience supporting users across multiple functions (e.g. stock, finance, operations).
- Ability to manage system configuration and workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with Odoo specifically (administrator, analyst, or similar role).
- Experience with supply chain or inventory management systems.
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.
- Exposure to system integrations or working alongside development teams.
- Experience working across multiple countries or distributed teams.
