Page 1 Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, specialist comparison platform based in Cardiff. As the business continues to invest in its digital experience, our client is looking to appoint a UX Designer to strengthen their user-centred design capability and help shape intuitive, high-performing customer journeys. This is a business known for its friendly, inclusive, and collaborative culture, where people are trusted to do great work and given the autonomy to own their craft. You will be joining a supportive design function that values evidence-led decision making, thoughtful collaboration, and a healthy work-life balance. This is an experienced individual contributor role (IC2), offering end-to-end ownership of UX delivery across discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iteration with no line management responsibility.
About You
- Solid, demonstrable experience working as a UX Designer beyond entry level
- Proven ability to own UX decisions end to end and clearly explain reasoning to stakeholders
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, usability, and accessibility
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools such as Figma
- Comfortable using research, data, and testing insight to inform and validate design decisions
- Experience collaborating closely with Web Development, Content, SEO, and Marketing teams
Bonus Points
- Experience working in product, tech, or performance-led environments
- Familiarity with analytics, CRO, or usability testing
- Exposure to HTML/CSS or strong awareness of implementation considerations
