We are looking for a Commercial Insight Analyst to turn the Group's data into commercial decisions: automated business intelligence that named owners act on, clear visualisation for colleagues and for customers in our products, and fewer manual steps in how data reaches people.During 2026 the Group has brought the data from nine source systems into one curated data layer, with Power BI and Copilot-enabled reporting for Finance, Pagabo+ adoption and customer support. Demand for data, reporting and AI support has grown with it. This new, permanent role in the Data & AI team owns commercial business intelligence and visualisation day to day, so the data platform and the product-facing data work can move forward. Specific responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated business intelligence for named internal owners, replacing reports produced by hand. Examples: client and account health for account management, account growth for Sypro sales, trading health for the senior leadership team, and progress from FMF to the digital fee on Pagabo+.
- Produce commercial analysis for account management, Sypro business development and the framework teams, such as pipeline, cross-sell lists and supplier value statements.
- Manage the Data & AI request queue: establish the decision each request supports, reuse existing assets first, and deliver or redirect.
- Validate every output against an independent control before release, classify figures as certified or indicative, and raise root-cause change requests rather than workarounds.
- Comply with Pagabo's AI Policy and data-handling standards, including the rules on using one group company’s data in another. Escalate any analysis that could affect supplier selection or procurement fairness.
- Design Power BI reports and apps that people use, with scheduled refresh and a clear "data as at" time.
- Prototype new views quickly with AI tools such as Claude or Copilot, then move the ones that are used into Power BI.
- Work with stakeholders and the product teams on data visualisation inside Pagabo+ and Sypro, moving from visualisation to insight to recommendations.
- Automate manual reporting and data-handling steps where the business owner agrees the change.
- Help colleagues use Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools on their own data, through drop-in sessions and a small champion network.
