Overview
Amentum is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for the Hinkley Point C project.
The role reports to the Quality Manager and supports the site Quality Lead team.
The candidate will work in line with the Amentum construction team's rotation: 10 days on site with a four-day weekend, starting on a Tuesday and finishing the following Thursday.
Overtime and weekend pay rates align with the site ESCA agreement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, consistent welding inspection before, during, and after welding in accordance with project and company requirements, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure all work scope is completed safely, without detrimental impact to personnel, fabric, or environment.
- Read, understand, and implement applicable company and project policies, working practices, and procedures; ensure welding work scope is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Complete work in accordance with work packs / job cards, procedures, and drawings / sketches.
- Provide inspection support to construction activities as part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Compile complete quality documentation in line with company and contractual requirements.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of fabrication and non-destructive testing (VT, PT, MT) and QC/Dimensional inspection techniques.

- CSWIP / PCN Level II, Penetrant Testing
- Significant experience as a Welding Inspector
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety

- BGAS-CSWIP/ICorr/NACE Coatings Inspector
